Erica Cerra, born October 31st, 1979 in Vancouver British Columbia, is a Canadian Actress who is best known for portraying Deputy Jo Lupo in the Syfy series Eureka. Cerra was born in Vancouver British Columbia of Italian origin. Cerra had a fascination with acting as early as eight years old and appeared in numerous commercials as she began her journey. For a time she paused her acting and returned in 2001 at 22 years old. Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine named Cerra as one of the city's top five up and coming actors. Cerra appeared as deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy television show Eureka that aired from 2006 to 2012. The actress also appeared in a 2006 music video of The Michael Buble hit song Save the Last Dance for Me. Cerra has appeared in television shows that are popular, including Battlestar Galactica, The L Word as well as many more. Cerra has also appeared in a variety of major film releases including Man About Town, with Ben Affleck & Rebecca Romijn as well as Blade:Trinity featuring Wesley Snipes. Cerras head and body served as a template to Ashley Williams' character in Mass Effect. Other guest-starring roles she has played include turns in Smallville The 4400 The Dead Zone Reaper Huff as well as Dead Like Me. Khondabi has written that Joey Scribner Howard is her high school sweetheart, and she is a mechanical engineers within the electric utility sector. Khondabi and Joey had been friends since they first met at Greenwood Christian School. The two began dating during their senior years of high-school.
